is remembering to take care of YOU! 

At Transcend Wellness & Rehab it is our mission to help all of our patients feel well. This includes understanding self-care and wellness. We take the time to help with more than just aches and pains.

 

Here are some resources to get you started.

TAKE 20

20 minutes per day to do something that nourishes your spirit. Do that thing that brings you joy. Even if you need to get up before the rest of your tribe or before you start to get ready for work. It might be a bubble bath, or drinking a cup of tea on your deck watching the birds, spending time in your hosta garden, or walking through a bookstore, or reading that book that sits untouched on your bedside table. 

ONE HEALTHY HABIT AT A TIME

Sometimes we take on too much, ready for a complete life remodel. We buy a new planner- one that lets us schedule every hour of our waking day. Our enthusiasm bubbles over and our energy surges. And we are able to keep up with our grand plans for 3 days or so before sore muscles ask for a break, or our resolve to avoid that ice cream cone starts to quiver.  The healthy habits take timaybe a week, before sore muscles e to secure and become ingrained in our daily routines.

GRATITUDE FIRST

It is important to take some time each day to remember what we are thankful for in our lives. Making a habit of this each morning when you wake up, or before you go to sleep at night can make a remarkable difference in your mood all day. We all go through really hard times, but there is something to be grateful for each day.

PERSONALIZED GOALS
